What a “joiner trip” actually is
A joiner trip is a shared, fixed-departure day trip. We publish a date, a vehicle and a route. Anyone can buy a single seat on it. On the day, you travel with the other people who bought seats on the same date — usually eight to fifteen strangers who wanted to see the same thing.
You do not need to find companions, negotiate a car, or pay a four-person minimum. That is the entire product.
Who runs these trips
joinertrips is operated by the team behind letsgoforacamp.com, which has been running group treks and camps in South India for years. Bookings and payments are processed on that storefront, which is why the final checkout step happens there.
The pilot: Neelakurinji, Munnar
Neelakurinji (Strobilanthes kunthiana) flowers en masse roughly once every twelve years, turning stretches of the Munnar hills blue-violet. 2026 is a bloom year. It is the reason we started here, and it is a hard deadline — the next mass bloom is expected around 2038.

A departure is a promise
If a date is on the calendar, it runs. We do not quietly cancel because only three people booked — that is the whole point of a joiner trip.
One price, shown upfront
The price you see for your date and pax type is the price you pay. Entry tickets and permits that we can bundle, we bundle; anything we cannot, we list under "not included".
Small groups, local leads
Every trip is run by a Kerala-based trip lead who has done the route many times, in a vehicle we have inspected.
Honest about weather
Kerala hills do what they want. We tell you what a wet day looks like before you book, rather than after.
